Hi all... kinda a silly question, but i'll throw it out there

I've been using the following macro for a long time @lvl70:

/cast Deadly Throw
/cast [equiped:Thrown] Throw: Shoot

Basically what it does is it will throw my throwing weapon like normal (for pulls etc.) BUT if i have combo points on the target, it will use the finishing move of deadly throw. anyways, i love this macro.

My question is this, since i've lvled a bit and now have higher ranking of DT, should the first part of the macro be /cast Deadly Throw (rank 3) or does it automatically use rank three? I havent been able to really test it, so i figured i'd ask here.

For some reason, i believe it is using rank three, but i just want some confirmation.

Thanks!

I believe that when a rank is not specified, it defaults to the highest rank you know. I'm also not sure whether it's even possible to pick a lower rank for things like DT, where there's no cast time or energy cost difference.

While we're at it;

Could somebody post me their sap macro? Mine still somewhat works, but WOTLK kajizzled it. It now doesn't select a target between 1 and 10 yards range, but instead between 1 and ~25 yards range. This is extremely annoying since I cannot spam it anymore when a stealther has a teammate nearby (since sap will automatically select the teammate and hold it rather than switching to the stealther).

Edit: On second thought, let me try the updated version from the sticky first. Think I've tried it before but you can never be too sure.
