I didn't really want to start a new thread, but I'm not seeing an answer (which I could have easily over looked). With any luck, other glyph questions can be dropped here :)

MY question is about Glyph of Scourge Strike, will Scourge Strike (with the glyph) apply the diseases then the damage, or damage then the diseases?

This is assuming both get applied together.

It applies SS like it doesn't have diseases up, then applies both diseases.

It may be worth it anyway, since you'd be using an FU runeset to put up IT/PS but you'd be using it on SS instead.

It would make your rotations a hell of a lot easier, that's for sure. Smiley: frown

side note, that tooltip is wrong

its 25% chance to apply, not 101%

not reliable enough to base rotations around, so at best u can wing an extra scourge strike on proc from it

im not a fan of that glyph myself

Yeah, I just realized that as I was powerleveling Inscription, Mongoose.

With that in mind, it's pretty terrible.

Yeah, I used that Glyph, thinking it would help me cheat the rotation a bit but I think it procs around 20%. It's not dependable at all, if anything it's should be called Glyph of Infrequent Surprises. It's ideal to uses when nothing decent is lite up and it might, "MIGHT" refresh your deceases. If there is a different Glyph you're juggling between, go for the other, this one is a stinker.

Dang it, I saw that too in game.

Another glyph question;

Has anyone noticed a jump in threat when using Glyph of Rune Tap?

Thinking this would be good for an off tank or DPS build to help ease up things on the healer, IF it doesn't generate very much threat.

The problem with this glyph is that it does not reapply ebon plague, or at least it didn't last time I used it. You had to manually reapply those diseases to keep up ebon anyway, making the glpyh useless.

Well you get healing threat, but since it's not that much healing, the threat should be a non-issue.

yea but i think unholy blight gets ebon plaguebringer up.
They took UB's disease away but left the ability to bring up EP on it, so if you're using that as an RP dump it works.

What are the choice glyphs for blood spec or DK period. Noticed today that my dk currently has none equiped. ><

For leveling, definitely Death Strike. Other than that, for minors I suggest Horn of Winter and Pestilence. My third minor was Blood Tap, since I use that a lot and I hate losing HP for it.

I'd also suggest glyph of IT, Oblit, IBF, and Strangulate. IBF is a big one, IMO. IT isn't huge, but it gives you more RP to work with in RP dumps. Oblit should be on every PvEer once you hit 80.

I went death strike as blood (it has a bug if you're frost or unholy with the next to last tier talents). I also went plague strike, as I always lead off with icy touch, the PS glyph is useful regardless of what spec I am. My third major right NOW is rune strike, but I was just testing it out, and I think I'm going to replace it with something else.

My minor glyphs are horn of winter, pestilence, and death's embrace. Death's embrace is a holdover for when I was unholy, I just haven't found another minor worth using.
