A thing....that I did....you should look at it... Follow

As suggested, I'm posting this here for feed back.

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0xf0xgoZZcbfbhGddAzVfR

This is a build I was looking at. Not sure if it's any good.

Points that were brought up too me: HAT is supposedly a raid talent. I thought it was a good PVP talent. Maybe I don't understand how it works properly. The overall idea is to use Cold Blood to force Waylay into effect. I have Prep down to 5 min timer for that purpose. I chose fleet footed because I notice that once I get snared or stopped, I'm done. The 15% movement speed (if it works the way I think) will really help me maneuver while stealthed. I was told that Imp Poisons was worthless because I'd be forced to use Crip/wound, however, the whole point is to rely on Waylay. I was also told Ghostly Strike is good, but isn't Hemo overall better? This is generally geared towards personal preference, but any comments, flames, etc are welcomed. If HAT sucks for my purpose then yay, 3 more points.

EDIT: I hate Death Knights. They are so god damn broken.

On first glance it seems kind of... pointless to me. While the idea is good you could just as well pick a ShD build and sacrifice 2 points for waylay, I reckon.

I really don't see HAT being any good in PvP, maybe in 5v5 Arena but that's about it.

Biggest problem I see will be that you need to be behind the target. Which could ***** you over.

I'm not the best at PvP so I'll leave my thoughts at that.

HAT works for your own abilities as well.

That said, it's a crap build. Take Slaughter from the Shadows and ShD if you're going that deep into the Sub tree. Fleet Footed/CD isn't worth it.

And Imp Poisons is terrible for pretty much everything.

Thank you for the clarification.

We can't hear you over that blurry avatar Theo ;P

HaT might proc off your own talents, but I doubt it would be enough to really be a huge benefit in PvP. Then again, I'm a mediocre PvP player, so... grain of salt.

If you're really in love with burst builds, have you tried Mutilate? It's all the rage with the kids these days ;) But seriously, I've never had luck with Dagger/Sub builds. All my good ShS builds were fists or swords.

Again, not really my area of expertise, so I'll clam up here.

Good luck!!!

Thanks everyone. I'll just stick to Shadow Dance then. Ambush is more fun :D

Better than SF, at any rate.

I used Mutilate from 58-61, it was cool. When It worked right, I was CS, Muti, KS, Muti, tap, tap, win. When it didn't I was CS, low Muti, KS fail, low Muti, 3 pt Evis, tap, tap, tap, tap, win. Each outcome had a 50% shot of occurring. I'm far more consistent in PVP and quests. Which is why I like Sub. I tend to treat myself as auxiliary. I try to compliment my team mates instead of trying to be a ****** and solo everyone. I feel I'm very successful with ShS daggers. My favorite thing to do is abuse Vanish and Prep. 3 Ambushes in a row takes a lot out of me, but doing 6300 damage in 3 seconds is cool. I couldn't do that with Mutilate. My highest one is 1045. I'm up too 130g on respeccing now. :D

LOLDOUBLEPOST: How good/essential is Cheat Death, btw? I hear people in-game saying it's not as good as it use to be.

They changed it so that it works based on how much resilience you have, I think. So while it's much worse for people with 0 res, the committed arena players didn't see much of a difference.

I'd probably pick it in a ShD build. While it's situational (if you're getting focussed you're probably gonna go down anyway), it can be a pretty nice talent. And it pretty much shields you from getting killed by someone who'se on 2% hp himself.

While we're on it... Anybody has news on ShD yet? Are we going to get a new interface bar for it?

You should look at the stats on cheat death at 80 in your 70 pvp gear...
