So, if I have a long flight on my druid I usually alt-tab to Allakhazam, like this, to post. Well, I went back to the game and found myself dead.
From fall damage.
Apparently if you fly into a mountain, the game puts you back at epic land mount speed, and if you go over a ledge... you splat.
Very odd bug. Just thought you might want to be careful while scrolling Allakhazam ;-)

Also, if you "land" on a very steep slope, you'll start falling along it and sometimes won't be able to take off and might very well die from fall damage while in flight form.

And is anyone else irritated by the no-fly zone in Wintergrasp right in the middle of Northrend? Having to fly around it is such a PITA.

Yeah, quite a few times I've alt-tabbed and come back to see myself parachuting. It's usually ok because I land near a bunch of good herbs. And whenever I lag in Dalaran (read: every time I get near Dalaran) I overshoot the city, and parachute out of its borders again. It's silly.
