So I'm going to Respec to the 7/51/13 build from EJ

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0xbZMgVb0bxqru0xRtxbc0h

But I was wondering if moving 2 points from blood splatter to Ruthlessness would be better since I rarely use a stealth open. I use it, but maybe 1 out of 10 fights. Of course Opportunity becomes less important as well, but there are not many options in the low sub tree.

Also some questions on Hit. Right now my Hit is 333, my AP is 2714, my Crit is 19.45% and my expertise is 25. Is my crit to low and Hit to high? should I change a gem from hit to crit?I know the poison hit cap is around 317, and white is like 700+, so is it worth it to change it up a bit? I guess my best bet is a spread sheet but I'm bad at math! I look at those and my eyes bleed.

Blood Spatter main purpose is to increase Rupture damage, not garrote.

If you were reading stuff on EJ? Didn't you catch the bit that best stats past 132 hit, for either combat/mut is AP/AGIL?

Spreadsheet is your friend.

I said i was bad at math. But I thought AP = 1.0. Right now my agillity is 873, so drop Hit gems for Agillity, ok makes sence, brings my crit up at the same time. As for blood splatter, thanks for pointing that out, just flat out missed it.

As long as you are over the 315 Poison hit cap, feel free to gem for AGI instead. Maybe AGI/Hit Gems.

Personally I like having hit, I'm around 354 myself so I would probably gem AGI as well, but even over the 315 cap Hit is still a very nice stat.

"Like" and "numbers" often don't mix. Sure take hit if it provides a greater dps for certain gear choice but there is no reason to restrict yourself just because you like being over 300hit.

I don't restrict myself at all, I'm just saying that if I had a choice between Haste and Hit, or AP and Hit, or something along those lines I would take the hit.

Assuming we aren't talking about 10 Hit vs 200 AP or something absurd like that.

personally i think a balance of all stats is key. mut will want to go a little more crit, and combat a little more hit, but keeping all things balanced should show strongly.

Then again that's just from a general idea of stats etc. I don't know how the scaling will go at higher levels. Its gonna be a spreadsheet game again most likely.

Of course it will be. This game uses mathematic formulas to compute damage, so it would make sense that we can model all of these things in a spreadsheet.

There is a definite stat at every level of gearing that will give you the largest amount of DPS; we usually just only figure it out for the level cap, as that's what everyone spends the most time at.

Yeah, it's called Skill.

But seriously, math and rogues go hand in hand. Unless you're a casual player, in which case it's not all that big a deal.

And didn't we decide to shun you in the class=4 forums now that you are so in love with your DK? :P

Pfft, I've actually been using my rogue to do JC dailies. 700g a day from doing 10 mins of work is delicious. Smiley: grin

I wanted it blurry. I purposely blurred most of one layer and blended it with the other to bring more focus to my DK's eyes, because they look creepy that way.
