Hello! :)
I have right now a moonkin level 71 and i leveled this toon in the past, from 10 to 70, ALWAYS as balance (that was before the new moonkin hype, of course...lol).
I took a break during a few months but now im coming back to WoTLK. I used to raid as moonkin with my guild and so i could get decent gear for my fat owl (purples). :)
Now that im back, i decided to transfer this toon to another realm to play with some friends. My new guild is in need of healers and to be honest i feel like i need a (great) change to still have fun playing with the same toon (a little bit tired of root and nuke...lol), so i'm thinking about respec to resto....but, my experience as a healer is close to zero...
Since my gear is 90% pre-WoTLK and for balance spec, what should i do? If i just respec, do u think i'll be able to start healing the first instances in Northrend? My healing bonus is much lower (of course) than my spell damage. Healing bonus is around 950 only. I only have 233 spirit. My glyphs and enchants are all for balance spec too. Or do u think i should ask my guildies to do some Outland instances with me to get healing gear?
Another question, is it viable to level from 71-80 as resto? It will be a pain in the .... or just a little bit slower? If so, could u please help me with a good resto build to level?
Finally, any other important advice for a new healer? Im afraid not to correspond to my guildies expectations as a healer...:/
