First off, please let me apologize in advance, you've prolly all heard this one a million times, but I scanned the recent posts as well as the "read this first" posting and didn't see anything recent. I just started playing this game yesterday, I got my undead warlock up to lvl 7, near 8, before the servers went down for maintenance. I'm just wanting to find out about aquiring drain soul as well as the lvl 10 pet, well, as much info as I can in advance anyway.
I'm still running the trial version, prolly be buying the full game in a day or two, kinda impressed with it. Was a long term EQ player for about 4 years, this game has a lot of similarities and as a result I feel I'm picking it up kinda quick.

Drain Soul you will learn from your class trainer at level 10. I hope you figured out already that you gain new skills or ranks of skills every 2 levels up to 60, and every level after that. So visit your trainer every couple of levels. At certain levels, 10 included, he will give you quests. Some to acquire new pets, and sometimes just for gear that can help you while leveling. This is when you will get your Voidwalker, upon completing a quest at level 10. If you are unsure where your trainer is, visit a major city, Undercity/Orgrimmar, and ask one of the guards. They will point you in the right direction.
