Haunted HunterFollow

#1 Dec 01 2008 at 8:50 PM Rating: Default
I think my hunter is haunted. >< I'm using a 2 hander. Crystalforged War Axe. Whats happening is I'll send pet....fight like normal. Then when I go to loot the body. My 2h dissapears off my back....completely until I hit z to bring it back out. Is my hunter haunted.....someone call dr. phil! No really is this happening to anyone else. I'm kinda getting tired of it.

No matter were I am. I fight loot and then weapon is gone. I can DW and they will remain there but 2h's are gone. Thanks for those who reply.

No more disco axe of horror! :P
#3REDACTED, Posted: Dec 02 2008 at 4:02 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This is one of those questions that no one cares about. However, let me ask if you use a bow. |And after you loot do you see your quiver where your axe should be?
#4 Dec 02 2008 at 1:27 PM Rating: Decent
Its not a pointless thread. Sorry if I offended the forums. I was just wondering if that happened to anyone else. Yes I use a bow. If I attack the mob with my axe then loot the 2h is still there. If I kill it with the bow and loot 2h is gone. Thought maybe someone would have a solution but instead I've offended sir wrinkle. I appolagise.

#6REDACTED, Posted: Dec 02 2008 at 2:04 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) If you are going to act like a PITA then at elst read what i said. IS YOUR QUIVER ON YOUR BACK WHEN YOU LOOT? If it is then you have your answer. If not, go post on the official forums. Or you should definately ask this question on EJ!!! I bet they know.
#7 Dec 02 2008 at 2:46 PM Rating: Decent
I appolagise. I'll go post it on the official forums. No the quiver is not on my back. You can delete this thread if you want. Again sorry for overreacting. Had a friend that had been sick for a couple of weeks die night before last and its kinda made me edgy. Maybe I shouldn't have even replied to your post and posted were you told me to. =(

Please... Please please please please PLEASE go download Firefox. It has a built-in spell checker. It won't be able to help with your grammar, but at least you won't misspell such a common and important word such as "apologize."

But I have two questions for you.

1. Why does it matter if your weapon doesn't show up on your back?
2. How did you not replace that POS the first day you stepped into Northrend?
#9 Dec 02 2008 at 5:24 PM Rating: Good
You know, yeah I had a error in my typing...who cares...and the answer to your 2 questions midnight is I just want to know if its a bug that some people experience or an easy fix and I have replaced that weapon. I just used it for the AP boost. Using the 2h GS from a quest reward. They need to warn people who post on here....."Warning: Missspellers won't be tolerated" might make people prepared. I've seen so many of you with typos and gramatical errors. Obviously you don't see that. So if you want to spend your time checking everyones spelling...have at it. Its pretty sad how you can make some people feel by saying things such as i've read in other posts "Once you learn how to spell I'll learn how to answer your questions". I won't name names but you make people feel kinda crappy when you pick one misspelled word and totally flame them for it. Very sad indeed! >:(

We could put up with idiots who can't spell. However then we'd have more wut is teh bestest pet? questions and honestly if you don't want to take the time to properly type out your question then I don't want to take the time to try and not only understand what you're asking, but also think of an answer.

Also, if you can't spell I don't care about your feelings Smiley: grin

If you can't take the time and effort to write properly and coherently why should anyone take their time to properly answer?

Just sayin'.

I'm imagining he's not overly concerned if the answer is spelled properly. You can only correct someone, by the way, if you understood what they were trying to communicate - in which case, what exactly is it you have a problem with? If you don't understand someone, that's their fault?? Do you travel much?

I enjoy taking time and trouble on spelling and grammar, but I still can't nail a few challanging words (that was one of them...) - I don't, however, enjoy spending all sunday washing and waxing and buffing my car...so I don't. That doesn't entitle shinier cars to crash into me with impunity.

I value alla's wow forums, and I positively encourage vehement discouragement of 'wuts the best class to mine fish????' questions - but an ability to spell is not synonymous with intelligence or interest and to attack people for a disability demeans you.

Interesting that you could spare the time and effort to demean yourself but not help another.

edited for spelling...

I read on these forums before that an admin had ask not to attack people for there typing. Apparently nothing has changed. I agree 100% with the above poster. How you all can take the time to verbaly attack someone that had...1 word typed incorrectly. So I spelled it wrong. Big deal. Here lately I've been reading so many posts about people asking for help. So what if you hear whats the best build all day. If it annoys you then don't reply. But yet again you do....with attacks against the poster. Maybe we don't know the number crunching like you all do. You have no idea how many posters look up to you all for advice. You all can spend 15 minutes making someone feel like utter crap because of incorrect typing then to take even 2 minutes to help them.

There are only a few people on here that I can actually turn to for advice and get the help I'm seeking. Thats all I do in wow. I help people. All those people you see shouting in trade channel for help. I help them. Thats the kind of person I am. Some of you have this chip on your shoulder, well I'm a wow god and I can crunch numbers. I'm uber powerful with my 3k crits. You forget...its not the toon itself you attack...its the person behind the toon as well. I thought the forums were here for help. Guess I was wrong......

I haven't experienced that myself Saouliken so it could jsut be something on your client possibly? have you run a repair to make sure you don't have something goofy going on? Also, check for updated drivers etc etc. I am more inclined to think it's jsut an in game glitch than anything else but I can see how that can be annoying. Almost as much as your two spelling ***** here :)

edit - Oh dear, I misspelled a word in Firefox!!! whatever shall I do? Smiley: lol

IE has a spell check plug in... it's free:

http://www.iespell.com/download.php

I have experienced the sudden loss of a 'back' weapon or quiver but a quick "z" tap fixes it for visual, however, it also fixes itself on firing against another target. I thought it was odd when I first saw it as well but it's not something I was overly worried about. It does not appear to affect gameplay.

People who complain about the spelling skills of others are obviously compensating for misformed and unshapely genetalia. I have the worst spelling on the entire forum. I can also destroy most of you with a single button click.

Where is your spelling god now?

Thats what I thought. Anyways, telling someone on the forums here that their questions are things no one cares about when they are making an effort to contribute to your forums here is something I have a really big problem with. You guys need all the new blood in here you can get, because you don't have a large enough population to sustain this part of the forum as is. Those are the type of forums that get axed and merged back into the main forums. Please keep that in mind. Constructive criticism is well and good and you should constructivly encourage new posters if they have some bad habbits, but it can be taken too far.

Please keep that in mind.

I think it has quite enough admins in it atm. I could grab the other Cms though to really round it out and misspell stuff just for giggles though if you like. Smiley: grin
