Leveling a druidFollow

I just learned that there is a druid trainer near Exodar. So I was wondering if it would be a better idea to train on bloodmyst after my level 10 bear quest. Rather than going to the other alliance lands. Thanks.

I don't think is necessarily any faster or better. It just comes down personal preference. Have you quested that area before? Have you done several character through the old world and it feels stale? Personally I like questing the Exodar since it was added in BC and some of the quests are more interesting but I also really like the look and feel of the Darnassus area too. I hate questing in Stormwind but I know people who refuse to level anywhere else. ::shurgs::

Bloodmyst is smaller and has more quests located near each other than the other beginning alliance areas for questing. So theoretically it would be the best place to level until you finish the quests or they all go green or grey on you.

FYI there is a druid trainer about 100 yards from where you pop up in Moonglade when you teleport there with the Teleport:Moonglade spell you get at level 10. Moonglade-and-hearth-home makes it convenient/instant to train no matter where you happen to be questing. I haven't visited any other druid trainer since I figured that trick out FAR too late in my leveling experience. : )

Seconded Jeebar.

I always quest till I am ready to hearth, then - if training needed - Teleport Moonglade, train and the planned hearth. No time lost for training, loving it!

Seconded Arex for efficiency in those first levels.

Plus a quest on Bloodmyst gives you a bag as a reward super early. Bags gotten easily like this one are 'teh ****** for a new player who doesn't have a sugar daddy to buy such things for them.

You can teleport to moonglade, train, then hearth back, huh?
And my Druid is lvl 64?!?! Why didn't I know about this sooner?!?!

Shhh....don't tell anyone, but i'm pretty sure I had hit 70 before I found that trainer :(

Even knowing he is there he is so well camouflaged that it's hard to see him until you get quite close - very easy to miss.

LOL, yeah, I don't like to admit how far along I was when I found that sneaky *******.

I think finding out about that trainer is the single best thing I've learned from this forum. ; )

I didn't know about the trainer in Stormwind for the longest time, either. I'm sure I made several unnecessary trips to Darnassus because of it.

Fortunately, one of the newer additions is the ability to track class trainers on the mini-map. I'm not sure a lot of people know about this ability.

As someone new to leveling a druid, knowing that the trainer isn't just 100 yards away, but at the moonwell and near the flight master is actually useful information.

Oh I'm sorry, you're absolutely right, I should have given coordinates, created a map with the route to the trainer highlighted and a giant X to mark the spot, and posted a series of screenshots pointing out key landmarks along the path to the trainer. How rude of me.

Sorry to be so sarcastically snappy, (the above was sarcasm in case that wasn't clear, lol) but my server has turned into "World of Wherecraft" lately with all the basic questions posed in chat channels that could be answered with a quick search here or on thotbott or avoided entirely with carbonite or questhelper. I'm just getting tired of people that seem to feel entitled to have answers and info handed to them on a silver platter. The italics in your post gave me a "thanks for nothing" vibe. If your intent was simply to provide this information, and you weren't in fact being snippy about the incompleteness of the information provided in this thread, then I apologize.

P.S. By the way, unless you found a trainer other than the one I visit (which is entirely possible as Moonglade could/should be full of trainer-capable druids) the guy I use isn't right by the moonwell OR the flight master.

Pah! All REAL druids are "Guardian of Cenarius" and thus exalted with CC ;-)

Whoa - major misunderstanding. I was neither trying to provide new information, nor being snippy about the incompleteness of your post.

I was responding to the fact that Galenmoon criticized Chamassa's post:

Chamassa wrote:

for being redundant because your post apparently contained ALL the information that Chamassa's post did. But Chamassa's post mentions the moonwell and the flightmaster, which were NEW information to me, and which made me very happy. So, I didn't think it should be rated down (it was at default when I found it) or criticized for being redundant.

Hence, my comment. The italics were meant to point out the information that was in Chamassa's post and not in yours. I see now that I should have quoted both posts, and I'll certainly remember to do so in the future.

I do not feel entitled to any information, but I'll admit to being grateful when it is offered . . . and frustrated if said information is later to be rated down and considered redundant.

Now, if it turns out that there's no trainer there, I'll be happy to rate Chamassa down for providing misinformation. Just not for redundancy.

Edited to add: I checked, and there is a druid trainer near the moonwell on the way to the flightmasters (but not really near the flightmasters).

Damn, Vesaera, and I spent (read=wasted) all that time getting bent out of shape. Thanks for clarifying.
I missed the fact that you were commenting on Galenmoon's criticism of Chamissa's (arguably) redundant post that came after my first post.

Gak...I'm glad I at least (kinda somewhat) apologized in advance in the event of a misinterpretation.

Misinterpretation now confirmed, I apologize, merry christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Jeebar -- Hey, it happens! At first, I completely misread your comment, too, and worked myself into a "How dare that JeeBar think I'm one of those irritating people who can't even figure out how to read signposts!" (Something that happened recently was being asked where Darnassus was when we were in Dolanaar -- I led said person to the signpost and explained how to read it), but then I saw what you wrote about the italics, and realized you'd probably missed the whole Galenmoon-Chamassa exchange.

As I said, I'll definitely remember to quote what I'm replying to in the future, or at least signify *to whom* I'm replying.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, also!
