Hi PPl, tonight im going to roll a druid and go into the feral tree. I just want to know when the druid goes into cat form and is invisible like a rogue, once they engage in combat can they then vanish like a rogue as well?

No, druids don't have a "restealth" ability in cat form.

Thanks to one of my favorite changes in some recent patch, us night elves (of any class) can use our racial 'shadowmeld' to drop combat and disappear, but then we're stuck in one place in caster form. It's fabulously useful in getting out of PvE fights that you don't want to be in, and for dropping or transferring aggro when you're DPSing an instance, but in PvP players know right where you're at so it's value is minimal.

In pvp, though, you can maim > restealth, if you really feel the need. I haven't done that since when maim broke on any damage, though; I feel it's better to dps through the maim than get another opener up. Wait, scratch that, I did that once or twice when killing holy pallies.

The new shadowmeld is a good way to get back into stealth, get out of combat, or go for a 2nd opener (after going back into prowl) if you're a night elf.
