Hi,
I've just started using WoW and very impressed. It's really nice. I played completed Diablo 2 a few years ago now.
I've got a Troll, Warrior and he's doing really well. The problem is, I don't seem to be able to equip swords, hammers or bows. There is nowhere in the docs that indicates this would be an issue, and I have been visiting the warrior trainer regularly, so I have all the skills, but just can't use swords, hammers, or bows.
I've looked right through the game, here on allakhazam, in the manual, on worldofwarcraft.com, this is a last resort. If it's a limitation that's fine, but it doesn't seem to be specified anyway.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,
It doesn't seem right.
I'm now on a level 12 and still using a tomahawk!! Mages kill things faster than me, and they can do it from a distance.
I use all my skills during play, but I'd like at least a 2 handed axe.
Maybe there's something wrong.
Any Troll Warriors out there with any thoughts on the matter?

This is the problem:
Certain weapons need to be trained to start using. For instance; If you want to use a 2h axe you need to visit a Weapon Master in Orgrimmar. It's all in the link Mozared linked. Just read it and look up who who will train you what weaponskill. A warrior trainer will not be able to train you to use new weapons, ONLY Weapon Masters will do that.

Also not all weapon trainers train every skill (unless they changed it and I don't know about it). Warriors can use every weapon type except wands.
Meaning you'll probably have to go to various horde main cities to train all the weapon skills.

I know there is a weapons master in Silvermoon City who trains swords. If I was to make a horde warrior. To bad I'm not I'd have picked orc over troll. You start with a 2h axe and the trained skill. =) Berserk rocks
Ya it is all in that link, easiest places for what you mentioned you want to train are:
Orgimar for 2h Axes
and from the tower just to the right of the front gates of Org (outside city limits) take the Blimp (zepplin) to the Undercity. for Swords
