Hey everyone. Back after a short break. Been playing Fable 2 on 360 :D. Fun game anyways. I've been running around looking at peoples builds. I've noticed that alot have points into enhance totems. But on here you say its a waste. I havn't put any there yet. Another thing, is agi the number one stat for shammies now. I look at the stats and STR adds +block. I use mace and board right now tell DW. I've stacked a whole lot of agi on my shammy. Got gear waiting to use. Just wanted to make sure that str is really not worth it anymore and agi is main stat I need to focus on.

When I get to outlands and if I stay enhancement. Do I take the +spell power or +attack power gear. Just wanting to get this down so I'm not here in the outlands saying the same thing. I'm tellin ya. Out of all classes. I'm enjoying shammy more then most because I don't know...we kinda do more then just dps, heal even though its the weakest out of the healers and got good totems to support a group. My guild likes to run instances. I'm working towards last piece of blackened defias set from VC in DM. Should I be using board and mace or use a 2h. This is me so far.http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Aerie+Peak&n=Souliken
What ya think?

Enhancing totems is not useless, if you are max level and raiding it is essential. I can't speak for others but all I have advised is that it is a lower priority in a leveling build as there are so many other talents that will have a greater impact and benefit while you are leveling. I also feel it is of little use in a PvP build. Honestly though don't bother with it at your level, it's more of a group benefit talent and you need to focus on the most efficient leveling talents.

Agi is far and away the number one Shammy stat now, Str is fine but Agi is better. You should only be using sword and board till 30 then swap in a 2 hander and use WF, the burst from this is far superior to the limited survivability gain from a shield. At 40ish switch to dual wield (though a 2 hander is still potentially 1 shot death to clothies in the 49 bracket so keep one around).

Don't roll on spellpower gear unless no-one else wants it and even then just for your resto/ele set. 1 or 2 pieces of SP gear is ok if you have nothing better but focus on Agi, AP, Crit in that order and start looking for Hit as you reach max level (Stam and Int are nice too but those other stats come first).

Obviously this is for enhancement, so ...

not only is agi > str, but if youre spec'd correctly - INT > STR

because of your T4 (?) talent that says you get 100% of your into as AP. so for each point of Int you are gonna get 1 AP, plus some mana and spell crit.

However, they got rid of some of our cool to hit talents, so...

Now days - enhance shammies stats = AGI > INT/HIT > STR/CRIT

Cheers

Thanks so much for replying. You have no idea how much I look up to you higher level shamans for advice. Dread I'm following your shammy guide you posted in another thread. Whats with everyone complaining about 2 points into Imp ghostwolf form is useless. I thought for a leveling build it was excellent. Thats were I'm going to put 2 points. Instant escape is nice. Dread if you were going to make a horde shammy. What would you pick. Orc, tauren, or Troll for pve and instances. To bad undead can't be shamans. That would be awsome lol
