Sorry guys, I don't get to play at all right now, so I'm having to content myself with theory crafting. I haven't seen this discussed here. But anyways on to the point. What I was curious about is I seem to see all the spells being posted about as having mana costs of a % of base mana. Dose this mean the hunter community no longer has to worry about how much mana we get? I mean if it's going to be 4 or 6 % of base mana no matter what our mana is. Dose that mean we can have crappy mana pools and focus solely on other stats? Or when it says base mana dose it mean our mana pool before int and talents and such? It just seems like it would make one less thing for us to worry about. Which in the end kinda takes away some more diversity I'd think. Ohh well just curious since I have to live vicariously through all my hunter colleagues. :( Give me something to do guys. Hehe
Base Mana is based purely on level and class. It's the amount of mana you'd have without talents and a debuff for -100% Int.
Hunters, for some reason, have the highest base mana, and the lowest Int on Tier 7 gear. That doesn't make stacking Int just for the mana a good idea.. there is still Aspect of the Viper.. but it's a good idea to bring some mana pots with you.
Perhaps even use a Fel Mana pot just before a pull to sneak in some extra mana. I don't think there's a new version of mana over time pots, but the old ones aren't bad if you're having problems.

Ok thank you. I'm hoping I can keep up with stuff well enough. That when I can finally get back on my account I won't be to far behind LOL. At least I can think about wow checking on these boards LOL.
They changed it to base mana because they wanted to get rid of down ranking. All levels of a shot cost the same % so there is no reason to use a lower rank to save mana.
