Im curious what is the best stat for affliction after u have capped hit.

My current plans are:

1.Capping hit 1st.
2.Then get crit to around 15%. (u get allot of % crit boosts from other chars so i geuss i should be fine till u are able to get more from better pieces)
3. should i be aiming for haste or more spelldamage here???

If you're talking affliction then Spell Dam is what you should go after all the time.

Most of your dots are instant cast, so haste is less important, though will help with UA, Haunt and Immolate.

I think I said elsewhere that utilising all dots leaves hardly any - IF any - time to Shadow Bolt. Haste may help with this, but not at the expense of damage.

Haste also affects GCD and thus the entire rotation and the bigger part of the rotation requires haste shadowbolt, haunt, UA, immolate which all also benifit from crit especially with ISB.

I also have a question about the UA glyph.
havent tested it myself but it reduces the cast time by 0.2 sec.
Does it also reduce the GCD by 0.2? (otherwise its useless for pve)

There's still plenty of time for SB Spam as Affliction. With Corr being refreshed by Haunt and using CoEl instead of CoA, there's plenty of time. Haste is everywhere in Northrend, you'll get plenty w/o trying. Focus on Spell Damage and Crit after hit IMO.

Stack crit? Are you SURE? I thought that was a warlock no-no. And things haven't changed that much...

im not thinking of stacking crit but i think a min. amount of it is necesary and ISB buffs allot of the rotation.

critable spells are immolate, UA, haunt, Shadowbolt, corruption thats 5/7 spells with one leaving a good debuff.

stacking crit as affliction would be stupid but i think 15% unbuffed is a low minimum which u should have in a affliction build

15% will be hard to reach I think, based on what I have seen so far. I'm at 9.9% now and I still have my destro gear on (for the most part)!

I'm going for 25% min when I respec.

I have around 23% crit, and crit is a very good thing, even as Affliction now with Pandemic.

Definately go for Crit, more emphasis on Spell Dam, but after that Crit over Haste for Affliction I think.
