I am new to playing with a shaman. So, i wanted to ask what kind of builds there are for this class. i am most interested in the enhancement and elemental ones. Also i would really appreciate it if you were able to help me choose between one of them.

Before anyone else says to do so, I would reccomend reading the FAQ. It has lots of helpful hints. Personally, I leveled enhancment and totally loved it. A lot of people will tell you the same thing. This is mainly because of the lack of + spell gear out there.
I'd recommend enhancement, just because it's faster and has better gear available before 60. After that, the question is whether you like to stand back and cast spells to kill your enemies, or beat them to death with glowing weapons. If you like ranged spells, elemental, melee, enhancement.
