Do Death Knights Benefit from SpellPower ???Follow

At many if not every time the game itself describes the Death Knights abilities as Spells. if the diseases and debuffs and everything else in a DKs ******* is to be considered as spells, does that mean that Death Knights should be going for Ret Pally gear for the strength, agility, and spell power it increases the gear will have ? I mean, the reasons for the strength and Agility are obvious in so far as dodge/ hit rating / Crit increases are concerned, but the benefits from higher spellpower that a Unholy especially or even Blood or Frost spec from spellpower to increase damage could be awsome. anyone know for sure ???

No they don't benefit from spell power.
