Hello. I have a 72 Shaman. I've been Elemental for awhile now and felt like trying out some Enhancement. I've been saving up armor and weapons from quest rewards and drops to use with my Enhancement spec. I came across a couple blue daggers that seem pretty decent for now. I know that two slow one-hand weapons with WF on both is better than two fast one-hand weapons with WF. So I was wondering if FT would be better on the daggers for now until I come across a couple slower weapons or if WF would still be better? It seems to make sense to me to use FT.

If all you have is a dagger, yes, use Flametongue. Do you really want a dagger to take up your Windfury Proc? ;P.

Hahaha no no I don't want my daggers to take WF away from me for long. It would be a sad thing :(...but I figured I would try to do the best with what I have for now. I'll be on the lookout for some good maces or axes.

I decided to just buy some maces in the AH. I threw some WF on them and my dps went up about 200. That's a huge difference. Even with mediocre AH maces :p.
What's the lesson here?
