Unholy down timeFollow

#1 Nov 18 2008 at 8:17 AM Rating: Decent
I just wanted to post about the down time of unholy. I see alot of posts where people say blood has less downtime. When leveling this is just plain untrue! If played properly unholy has ZERO downtime. I have played up to level 74 now and NEVER have to stop for any reason. I am not trying to make a blood vs unhloy arguement. I actually really like both specs, but I just felt like people should not make downtime a factor in their decision seeing as there is none. Unholy finishes most fights at 100% just like blood does. So choose based on your playstyle and not an imaginary disadvantage.

I've leveled as all 3 on beta and have had zero downtime with every spec.

I play as Unholy spec and I have no downtime. It takes something really serious for me to ever need to use a bandage or some food. I've taken one groups of four or five mobs and then had a bunch of adds jump in at the end of a fight, killed them and still been ready to move on right away. Death Strike is an absolute gem of an ability for getting health back.

Ive only tried unholy, but I have to say that right when I jumped in to outlands and started questing, I realised the occasional bandage after a huge aggro pull was all the downtime I really needed. Heart strike is awsome, and my pet both holds one or two of the mobs aggro, and does a suprising amount of damage. I will be taking on four mobs, my ghoul will be on one, ill put pestilence up, and my ghoul will finish it's mob off before im done with the other 3.

I have to say Ive never played a character before where I felt so invincible in pve. I can speak for Unholy having very little downtime so far. If all im taking on is 1 or 2 mobs, then there is NO downtime. If I do pull a huge group, the gargoyle is my best friend. Questing has never been faster.

All this being said, all three specs have people that claim theres is the best, I'm guessing it all depends on how you play it. The death knight trees were designed to be versatile.
