Fury and Haste?Follow

#1 Nov 17 2008 at 3:48 PM Rating: Decent
hi all, just wondering what all your theory crafters out there think of haste as a dps stat for fury warriors, compared to other things like AP and crit

im aware that +hit is the stat for TG fury wars, but i was just thinking with enough haste you could do dmg akin to the old 17/44 specs

i also see alot of haste on the new gear and wonder if thats the direction blizz is trying to take us in

feel free to post on this topic, and thanks in advance

I am not really a Fury Warrior, I only used it from 70 to 80.

I would go for +hit, +str, +haste, +crit.

IMO haste is the most wonderful thing in the world for Dual Weilding those lovely 2H Weapons :P

now with the change to warriors though, is +hit going to be that important for fury warriors?

From what I've seen it goes

Hit to cap=Expertise to cap>Strength>Crit>Haste>ArP

And in 3.0.8 somthing like this (Guessing)

Hit to (350-400)=Expertise to cap>Strength>Crit>Haste>ArP

Reason behind the change in hit despite the removal of the TG penalty is that with much lower than that rage flow won't be consistant enough for an effective rotation.

Correct me if I'm wrong however...

Good point, anything below that 30% is going to be fairly sad for Flurry uptime and (for now) Bloodsurge procs, not to mention Deep wounds

And rampage uptime, which if you have a druid with LoTP won't matter, but without one it does.

Haste adds to white damage, which is not a priority for any warrior spec ... rather focus on ap (in the form of strength preferably) and crit.
