Seal + Judgment?Follow

#1 Nov 17 2008 at 1:59 PM Rating: Decent
I've been swapping between a few Seals and Judgments lately because of Humanoid mobs running and linking and fighting 10+ = fun, but not when in a hurry.

I usually just use SoC with JoL but lately, when mobs run, I have to use JoJ. This however, loses my healing when I hit which is very nice(39 healing every proc) so I'd use SoL with JoJ. My wonder is, if HP is really dropping, would SoL and JoL work together?
For example, would BOTH proc(double heal)? Would only 1 proc instead of the other(and if so, which has priority)? Or, would it just increase the chance of either hitting?

They are two separate effects with an independent chance of proccing, which means both can proc on the same hit.

In general though, you are usually better off trying to do more damage to kill mobs faster and occasionally cast a Flash of Light on yourself whenever you need healing. Keeping Judgement of Wisdom up instead of JoL is probably more efficient in most cases.

You have so many tools at your disposal for dealing with runners, I can't really see using JoJ in PVE. Depending upon your level, using Hammer of Justice, Hammer of Wrath, or just plain Judging the mob again with any of the damage-dealing seals should prevent the problem you describe.

If you are pulling just a few mobs that flee (and give a hard time), between 1-3, the justice judgment is nice on the low lifers. If you are like me, and enjoy pulling huge pulls, 4-6 or whatever I can stomach, keep you hammer of justice ready, prepare to have your divine shield ready or blessing of protection.

As hoyadinFTW said, just use your holy light and save a little mana and you should be fine. The new pushback mechanic REALLY makes us a lot harder to take down, especially with lots of mobs on us.

I'm not sure what your build is, but as a retadin I have been strictly using (due to the huge mana returns they have) blessing of might for more dps.
If I was another build, Blessing of Wisdom is a godsend for mana regen.

And to answer your question, yes both the seal and judge for mana and heal can and do proc at the same times. If you are having some serious life issues, Look for some gear of the bear or eagle (str/int +Stam, your preference). I was having huge problems at 50 and bought some nice greens off the ah.

Hope this helps :)
