Thrash Blade returns... for all our alts!

Sadly it's saddled with resil. But, meh.

At least you can make an argument for resilience on a PvP server. But 2.4 speed? That's just ick.

What did I miss in the XP notes here...that binds to account? So to say that it's reusable, tradeable between your toons, leveling gear? Am I getting the picture here?

It is bound to account and the stats scale with character level. So you can make an alt and send them the sword to level with and it will get better with each *ding*, nice ;)

why hype the trash blade, when you could be hyping the heirloom dal'rends SC?

2.8 speed, MH only

The day I vendored my Thrash Blade was a sad one... it was pretty tricky to get a group together for Mara at the time and that sword got me (and many other rogues) through a lot of levels. This account-bound version I'd get mostly for nostalgia than anything.

I absolutely loved the Thrash Blade when I got it, and I bought a Hanzo Sword shortly thereafter. Those were the days. ;-)

Ah, the good 'ole days.

Y'know what would be great for nostalgia? If they continued the Ravenholdt quest line.

OMG .. Hanzo's and Thrashblade was totally drool-worthy.

This.

But, then again... Do we actually want to pick pocketing the same 25 mobs for hours on end again?

If they continued and expanded the quest line, I might think it's worth it.

They'd "expand" that storyline with more pick pocketing quests I'm sure. They are cruel bastards like that. ;D

Can you enchant those items?

Let's say, enchant Thrash Blade with Greater Potency and then trade it to your level 1?

I think you can enchant them, yup, but there are limits. To cite a few comments on the item from Wowhead:

Quote:
what happens if you enchant mongoose on these kind of weapons, and then send it to your lvl 1 alt?

Quote:
An excellent question, but heirloom items will not be enchantable with any enchants that have an item level requirement on them. Really too bad. I can see a level 10 rogue with this and something else both with mongoose on them. I suppose they made leveling easy enough though.

Quote:
Ill still be getting a nice lil 2hander with crusader for my war, and re-enchant it with something else (I think maybe +7 dmg or something) post 60.

Quote:
Crusader is still rather...ok...past 60 you know. Don't quote me on the proc rate VS stat gain percentage after 60 though.

Quote:
It has an item level of 1, so you can't put any enchant with a level requirement on it. So Crusader is gonna be the best.
