For figure out gearing? I know everyone is saying stack str and sta for prot. But how about for leveling? I'm looking for highest damage output while prot spec. Some of the gear seems to not ding my AP or wep dmg much but seriously boost my spell dmg. Would be awesome if someone had a spread sheet for WOTLK pallies.
Not for that... There's a couple at maintankadin that focus on tanking gear/stats... but nothing that aims to make it easier to maximize damage as Prot.
I find running around in all my pre-3.0 spell damage gear to be quite nice for massive damage output levelling though. Dont expect DPS class DPS though.

It's just hard to figure out with all the different armor and weapon choices in Northrend. When you look at the aoe dmg calcs you have AP and Spell DMG figured in. It's a little complex but I'll figure it out : )
