Haven't seen any posts about this so I figured I would be the first. Its my understanding only mages can go to Dalaran before level 74, my question is how? I know its a portal but how do you get it?

I don't know what you're talking about. Dalaran is the most well laid out city IMO.

Oh, and when you're 71 and porting there, don't forget you can use the BG masters(portals) to get your friends to Dalaran.

Yep, my guild did that.

I love the city. I went up the Violet Citadel and looked down on the city from the balcony. It is a beautiful city.

Of course, I had to spend 2400g first thing on a new bear and windrider.

I can Port anyone now, since I'm 74. I wonder what to charge for it...

People have been offering me between 10-20g for a port.

I'm not able to port people to Dalaran yet, but I've been makin a killin porting people to Shat/Org/etc. People set their hearths to Northrend, then it's just impossible for them to find the zep after that. :)

Dalaran confuses the hell out of me, too, but I like it a lot better than Shat. I'll probably learn my way around there by next year. Maybe. :) I've had to teleport back to the spot several times after getting lost in the sewers and stuff. But I like it. :)

So, one guy asks me for a port. I said 20g. He said I must have been getting a lot of tells and then I never heard from him again.

Another person just outright tried to blind invite me. I didn't accept. I don't tit's too hard to ask in a tell first.

Also: Frostfire Bolt is so awesome.

??

A member of my guild got a group of us to Dalaran by inviting us to a group and in a queue to a battleground we were all level 70 and when we went /afk after getting in and getting kicked out we ended up in Dalaran so 72 is wrong unless it has been changed in the last week ?.

I'm in love with this city. Just made 71 last night (yeah, I've been taking it real slow, enjoying the sights), and quickly made my way to dragonblight to get my portal. I play horde, and have always been jealous of the Alliance for having Stormwind, which I've always viewed as THE quintessential fantasy city (maybe I'm too caught up in my youth with the idea of knights and castles, etc).

So when I started walking around Dalaran, I was very happy - it's got a very similar feel, in that the buildings and walkways, etc are similar, but it also has that mage-like feel to it, which makes me feel very much like I belong. Silvermoon city could have been like this, but I think they went a bit OTT there ...

Dalaran is pure win ... and FFS, what's the deal with being agro'd by a blinking shark in the sewers ... I nearly crapped myself.
