Draenei or Human? Please Help.Follow

I posted this on the WOW.com boards, but I'd like to get your opinion also (I have time cause I'm bored at work too). So here the cut and paste question.

I have here my 56 DK human with 1 bubble to 57 and the more I think about it I wish I had choosen a Draenei, but reading through the forums here and else where that Humans got it good for DPS. My question is why is that the general consensus? Hit > expertise in my opinion. A free heal that scales with AP if I remember correctly. What would make a human so much better that people say human-night elf-dwarf-gnome-dreanei (not neccessarily in that order, but human, first dreanei last) for DPS. These 2 are my favorite races in the game, so switching won't matter to fit my playstyle and what I prefer.

So please if someone could help me with the reasoning for this thought process and give me and explaination to why humans are superior I would be very grateful.

Not to be rude, but your opinion is mathematically wrong. Expertise is point-for-point much more effective for DPS, as well as being somewhat rarer on gear and harder to itemize for. The draenei HoT also matters much less when DKs get so many abilities to regenerate health. While I'm not sure I would necessarily put draenei in last place, they're definitely behind humans for DPS. That being said, it's whichever one you can stand to stare at; and if that's equal, you want to be a human.
