Feral Druid NumbersFollow

#1 Nov 14 2008 at 7:18 PM Rating: Excellent
All of these are for Level 80 Feral with HotW (I have ignored the 6% to all stats from SotF for simplicity) :-

Strength
========
1 Str = 2.2 AP (Cat)
1 Str = 2.0 AP (Bear)

Agility
=======
1 Agi = 1.1 AP (Cat only)
1 Agi = 0.012% Crit
1 Agi = 0.024% Dodge
1 Agi = 2 Armor

83.33 Agi = 1% Crit
41.67 Agi = 1% Dodge

Stamina
=======
1 Sta = 10 Health (Cat)
1 Sta = 15 Health (Bear)

Intellect
=========
1 Int = 18 Mana
1 Int = 0.006% SpellCrit

166.67 Int = 1% SpellCrit

*** Intellet also increases the amount of health & mana regen you get from Spirit - not very important for ferals :)

Spirit
======
*** Spirit increases your out of combat health regen and your out of 5sec rule mana regen - not very important for ferals :)

Crit Rating
===========
1 CritRating = 0.022% Crit
45.91 CritRating = 1% Crit

Dodge Rating
============
1 DodgeRating = 0.025% Dodge
39.35 DodgeRating = 1% Dodge

Haste Rating
============
1 HasteRating = 0.030% Haste
32.79 HasteRating = 1% Haste

Hit Rating
==========
1 HitRating = 0.030% Hit
32.79 HitRating = 1% Hit

Cap vs Level 80 mob = 5% Hit = 163.95 HitRating
Cap vs Level 81 mob = 5.5% Hit = 180.34 HitRating
Cap vs Level 82 mob = 6% Hit = 196.74 HitRating
Cap vs Level 83 mob = 9% Hit = 295.11 HitRating (Raid Bosses)

Expertise Rating
================
1 ExpertiseRating = 0.030% reduction in dodge & parry chance
32.79 ExpertiseRating = 1% reduction in dodge & parry chance

Cap vs Level 80 mob = 5%(Dodge) / ?%(Parry) = 163.95 / ? ExpertiseRating
Cap vs Level 81 mob = 5.5%(Dodge) / ?%(Parry) = 180.34 / ? ExpertiseRating
Cap vs Level 82 mob = 6%(Dodge) / ?%(Parry) = 196.74 / ? ExpertiseRating
Cap vs Level 83 mob = 6.5%(Dodge) / 15%(Parry) = 213.13 / 491.85 ExpertiseRating (Raid Bosses)

*** The 10 Expertise we get from Primal Precision is equivalent to 81.975 ExpertiseRating so subtract that from the above figures if you have that talent.

Defense Rating
==============
1 DefenseRating = 0.008% dodge and 0.008% chance to be missed (and 1% reduced chance to be crit if you don't have SotF)
122.96 Defense Rating = 1% chance to dodge and 1% chance to be missed (and 1% reduced chance to be crit if you don't have SotF)

1 DefRating = 0.64 DodgeRating (counting misses as dodges)

ArmorPenetration Rating
=======================
1 ArPenRating = 0.065% ArmorPenetration
15.395 ArPenRating = 1% Armor Penetration

Resilience
==========
81.975 Resilience = -1% chance to be crit, -2.2% crit damage, -2% DoT damage & -2% mana drain reduction

1229.62 Resilience = 33% reduction from crit damage = the cap for this part of resilience's effect

Phew....that stopped me getting much done at work today :)

Please post any corrections or additions/modifications you think should be made, preferably with a link to where you got your info. Most of this came from wowwiki & ElitistJerks.

Hey, for the record, thanks for doing this. I'm apparently not the only one who is repelled by numbers like Superman is by kryptonite, but it's nice to know I can look this stuff if I need to. : )

No worries :) I realised just how many times I was referring back to Wowwiki & ElitistJerks for this kind of info and thought it would be nice to have all in one place.

nice rare. i think you borked one of the defense values tho:

Quote:
1 DefenseRating = 0.008% dodge and 1% chance to be missed (and 1% reduced chance to be crit if you don't have SotF)
122.96 Defense Rating = 1% chance to dodge and 1% chance to be missed (and 1% reduced chance to be crit if you don't have SotF)

im pretty sure the first line is off on the chance to be missed part.

other than that, great job compiling this stuff.

Tagging this for future reference, and rate ups for doing math so I don't have to.

Fixed a typo in the Expertise section - 15% parry reduction requires 491.85 Expertise Rating not 191.85 I had typed :(

Also fixed the value of Primal Precision talent - it is actually worth 81.975 Expertise Rating. I had misread the info on Wowiki and had it pointed out to me on ElitistJerks :)

Toward that end, might we want to get this stickied? Maybe make it slightly more broad by having one of our feathery or bark-covered brethren or sistren flesh it out with anything else that'd be of interest to balance or resto droods? From what I can tell, that'd basically amount to you replacing the "ferals don't care" about int and spirit with the actual info. Maybe something about spell hit and spell crit, unless those have been folded into universal hit and crit stats.

I'll get onto it. Although I will be modifying this list to include SotF effects as well as all ferals should have it and ElitistJerks like everything 100% accurate :)

I'd better get some work done here first before my staff revolt because they are doing all the work :)

i think you need to have a team meeting to express to your staff the sheer importance of your work here rare. and if they dont get it, tell them quor will be stalking them....and hes hungry.

surprised this isn't stickied yet?

This version is a little out of date. The up to date version is on the ElitistJerks forum and is linked in the Druid Resources: Wrath Edition thread which is stickied here already. It is also linked in my Sig and I try to post regularly :)

This thread has a few typos in it as well as the old 9% hit value for bosses which has since been shown to be incorrect. All these things have been corrected in the version on EJ.
