anyone whos regular on this forums, well we all meet the requirements to roll a DK

and im completely obsessed with it... to the point where i havent even touched the priest i power leveled just for the expansion... and where i dont even miss my rogue i played for 3 years

soo... what about everyone else? give it a try yet?

its just about everything i like about rogues, with every problem fixed too (and no, i dont miss stealth at all)

i get to use my favorite weapon type (polearms :D dont ask, i just love the look of the well-designed ones)

the rotations are much more complicated... the class isnt as easy to hide if your a pve scrub, and the pvp tricks are amazing/hilarious

i honestly dont see me leveling my rogue anytime in the near future (or my priest at this rate -_- lol)

not that i post much here anymore, but always a lurker ;)

just bored at work, and curious what everyone else thinks or the new melee class in comparsion to our beloved enegry-based beasts

After updating I got online and did about half a level on Therion, had a snack, and then came back to what I call the Lost Hours of the Death Knight...

Even after playing 2 DKs in beta, lemme just tell ya: Those DK opening quests are f'in fun. My goal was to speed through the opening zones before it got too crowded and laggy (beta 89xx build anyone?) which worked pretty well and park her in Thrallmar. Which I did. I just took a few extra minutes here and there to explore a bit ;)

But, yeah. Fun class is fun as the gamers say and it's mostly new to people. The rotations aren't really very complicated (you'll get used to them, trust me) but the feeling of power -- especially Death Grip -- is intoxicating.

This next week I'm all about the race to 80 and Naxx for Therion. But I fear my long-beleaguered Pally and Lock will yet again be left behind a newer toon on the way to the level cap.....

Cheers!

im muti atm, feels too slow for my taste (great stuff, hfb helps flesh out my need for more buttons, and the cp gen is awesome... but hemo 'felt' more aggressive)

waiting on that much energy is kinda a drag..... i prefer classes that more fast-paced-feeling then big numbers n such

thats why my mage was fire, thats why my lock was afflic (feels real fast if you think you can chain pull mutiple mobs for hours lol)

its not bad, just not my cup of tea

55-58 on DK was a amazingly fun. Now leveling up Herbalism before I hit Outlands may be less fun lol
(more fun that leveling it from scratch later on I guess)

Haven't moved my Rogue out of IF yet, not sure if I'm going to level it or just work on my DK and Pally (don't judge me, I'm only leveling as Ret, gonna heal lol).

I really like the DK 'rotations'. I'm speccing mine unholy and even with just ~8-10 skills I already find it hard to get used to when to use what. It seems DK's play like rogues with diseases as combo points. Either way, it's enjoyable. What I like most about my DK at the moment though, are his looks. I absolutely hate the Undead looks on pretty much any class, but DAMN are they sweet on a Death Knight. /laugh is probably the most kick-*** emote in the game right now.
