So... I haven't played a Rogue in a REALLY long time (a year, maybe).

When did they change the 2-second tic (or whatever the wait was) to a constant recovery system?

I REALLY like the change. XD

It allows me to use more abilities faster and lets me actually feel like it is "energy."

So... When did it change?

I was actually surprised to find out the change also applied to mana, some patches back. Lovely change indeed.

I was under the impression that it was always a constant thing, it just shows it constantly now, or is that incorrect? I have only been playing the game for about 7 months so still tonnes to learn and enjoy.

Energy used to tick in chunks. The constant replenish style we have now is much, much better.

Although... I still find myself counting like I used to.... old habits and whatnot.... ;)

About an hour after I switched from ShS to mutilate, I was still running behind pvp targets....after they took the positional req out. Talk about old habits :)

That's not a bad thing though, since attacking a player from behind removes his dodge chance ;)

It removes both on players.

It only removes parry on bosses, though.

Theo, someones karma camping you.

again.

I really love this change, its smoothed out my dps cycle completly and its definately the best dps boost we've ever got.

Only thing is i wish UI's like Perl would keep up and show the constant regen.

Maybe i just have an old version.

X-Perl, Ag_UnitFrames and Pitbull have had the smooth energy regen for awhile now.
