Off to a good startFollow

One thing I learned with TBC was that a little planning would've been nice before going gangbusters to reach 70. I should've run more Hellfire instances before doing Honor Hold rep to get the exalted sword easier. I probably should've picked Scryers instead of Aldors to get that hit trinket. The list goes on.

I'd like to think I'm wiser and more prepared to go to Northrend. I plan on doing some more research into the different factions and whatnot. Kirin Tor, for example seems to be a great faction to get rep as a mage.

My question, does anyone know if one starting zone or the other favors a mage, rep and reward-wise? If I choose Borean Tundra, will I have to swing back to the Howling Fjord and grind rep?

For those of you who have played the beta, are there any insider tricks to focus on?
