I was going to continue leveling a mage for some pvp/arenas but more pve, but after reading about Death Knights and watching videos, it seems like they will be an extremely op class in pvp. There is no sense in leveling a class for pvp when Death Knights are going to tear everyone apart. So I have a question for everyone.
Should I go with the flow and level a DK to be the hero class that does massive dmg or should I stick to a class I enjoy and hope that Blizzard balances classes in pvp at 80 (like they'd do that hah!)?

How old was the video you were watching? I've never seen DKs "tear apart people" with the current build. In PvP they're more the outlast the opponent types than anything else.
DK requires mad skillz to tear people apart, plus gear to match.
you probably saw a vid before their first round of nerfs, back when they were around 50% of ret pally damage(and ret pallies were doing 22k crits).
