Voidwalker Sacrifice AutoscastFollow

#1 Nov 07 2008 at 12:54 AM Rating: Default
Does anyone know how to disable autocasting of Voidwalker's Sacrifice Skill?

Each time I summon him, he always use that skill and vanishes, its so frustrating...

I already tried using macro commands and clicking it if the skill appears when i summon it but it still won't work cause he dies instantly.

I want to know if there's a command that could manually stop/disable autocasting the sacrifice skill. If you know any addons please share your link. Tnx to all who would help me.

last I knew, it couldn't be put on automatic use... so sounds like you're clicking the button each time trying to turn it off, but instead just forcing him to use the ability.

well i'm like... 99% certain that the spell shouldn't beable to auto-cast, so I'd reconmend calling a GM about it, they should beable to fix it for you

That is weird. I have never had my VW autocast that spell. Sounds like something is wrong, are you using any mods? Maybe one of them is mucking up with it.
If you are disable all of them and one by one see which one is the bugger making your VW go poof.

This used to happen to me. It's not on autocast, and it's not a bug. It's player error.

You all know you can use ctrl+<number> as the default hotkeys for your petbar, right? Well VW sac is something like ctrl+5.

On my actionbar, Corruption was hotkeyed 5. I'd usually open up fights by sending in VW and casting corruption. So in key terms; Ctrl+1, 5. Now I'm usre you're all starting to see where this is going. If you haven't fully left off Ctrl after you send pet in (and believe me, it's VERY easy to forget) you can guess what happens when you click 5 meaning to cast Corruption.

It's easily fixed however by going into your keybindings and unbinding Ctrl+5 or whatever the sac one is.

Yep. ;) My Sacrifice is actually Ctrl+0 because I have accidentally sacrificed him before.

Also check your spell book pet tab. See if Sacrifice is highlited, if it is, then it will auto cast. Right click it to turn off auto cast
