Blizz needs to L2Play a Rogue.

Hemorrhage is not an ability that is not supposed to replace Sinister Strike but it's not useful as it is currently and the Subtlety tree as a whole could use some work. Why does Devastate replace Sunder Armor for Warriors?

Hemo doesn't replace Sinister Strike. Backstab does. We have talked about a talent that applies the Hemo debuff to Backstab (like your Sunder example) just so there's no confusion about which is the right button to push in PvE. We added Hemo to Surprise Attacks mostly for alternate hybrid specs, if that makes sense.

I was pretty skeptical, but I have to admit, that's actually quite funny.

yea the moment i saw that i was just like "wow".

I guess thats why the 55 pt talents lower backstab energy cost.
backstab is awful for pvp. mutilate with positional reqs was decent just because it was more CPs and burst damage to make up for having to get behind something, but backstab will never compare to mutilate, even with a 45 energy cost. backstab is that kind of ability that gets removed from your bar at lv 20 or so.

Yeah, if you've spent any time in the Beta forums, you'd hear GhostCrawler talking about these "great Rogues they get advice from." And how they test a more advanced build, so any damage sheets we present are irrelevant because it's from an older version.
And then they make comments like this lol

There was also one where GC claimed they were worried that Fan of Knives would replace Sinister Strike, even though it gives no Combo Points (this was their excuse for the high energy cost and 30 sec CD) /eyeroll

They only lowered it's cooldown because they nerfed it in attempt to thwart Combat-Shiv Spam specs. They made only auto-attacks proc Combat Potency, which means no procs in Killing Spree and FoK, they haven't done anything to buff Killing Spree for this loss.

Oh, and expect to have a UI fix for Shadowdance after WotLK comes out.

Now that's just... seriously bad. It's like claiming you're worried polymorph will replace frostbolt or something =/

GC also states that vanish never breaks.

I've heard that stance before from Blizzard though. GM's tend to blame my addons (and along with it, inform me that they've never heard about "the vanish bug" or anything alike).

I get knocked out of vanish for no reason more then I don't, and that's with a 200ms connection. I really wish they'd fix vanish.

But wow backstab..It's not that much better for damage than hemo with a sword.
