Quick cheap hit rating for gruulFollow

#1 Nov 06 2008 at 7:49 AM Rating: Decent
Just been invited to a gruuls run in 4 hours as they're really low on people.

Is there any way I can get my current hit up to cap quickly and cheaply?

Armory:

Armory Lite (faster):

I can cook up some hit food which will get me to 110 but I have no idea where I can get the rest.
I was thinking surefooted?

Yes I know I have nearly no enchants, most of my gear is only a few days old.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

The enchant for hands that used to be spell hit now gives 15 everything-hit and is pretty cheap (http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?wspell=33994). Also can pick up Surefooted for another 10 rating (http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?wspell=27954, I consider this one cheap too, but I have stacks of voids from raiding and can shatter em, so YMMV).

I wouldn't stress too horribly about it, though. You'd be fine to go with just what you have on (you don't have to do too much DPS anymore to kill Gruul before he gibs your tank).

I did not look at your armory but if you're Scryer for some odd reason you can get the blood gem trink at revered for some easy hit. Or if you skipped Torgos you can get the Terrokar Tablet for about +22 and a more useful proc.

As a 70 hunter he is easy to solo.

gem it up, replace some of those AP gems for hit gems. not sure what your definition of cheap is though.

I think the simplest solution would actually be to just spec into 3/3 Focused Aim. That lowers your hit cap down to I believe 95 rating. I personally wouldn't go as 51/10 because in my testing the DPS is crap (either 49/12 with GftT or Marks).

You can also replace your Horseman's Blade with another Sunbreaker.

I'm not sure why, but none of my characters have been hitcapped since the patch, and only in one raid did I have any misses.

Even last night in ZA with 7% hit.. no missed shots, no volley resists, no resisted traps.. Nothing failed.
