Meta in BG's and PvEFollow

I hear alot of people complain about Meta and its uses in pvp and pve. I want to share some personal experiences with Meta, but before I do, keep in mind these talents are meant for level 80, WoW is broken right now as far as balance goes, only one class can be the best, everyone else has to get in line behind them. and I believe pallys are number 1 right now, even after the nerf.

PvP first... My pvp gear is ok, I have 13.6k hp, 440 or so res, 1100-1200 spellpower and I use my felguard. The only class that I consistantly have issues with in any 1v1 situation is a good arcane mage. Long range instant cast nukes which dont seem to have a CD and slow is just far too OP in my opinion. But melee isnt such a problem anymore. I ran into the flag room with a MS warrior, Ret Pally and rogue and was able to kill all three before Meta had went away. popping meta gave me 21k armor! yea it has a CD, but it is a very good anti melee ability, which WAS our biggest problem. would love to have Meta be a permanant form like moonkin, but thats a dream.

I raided as demo in BT as well. My stats were somewhere between 1850-1900 spellpower and 30% crit, hit capped of course, no haste. I was still pvp spec so I didnt have bane either. Number one thing I noticed, my AoE in Meta is off the charts, over 7k dps on aoe and I can take some hits if I pull aggro because I have like 14k armor. on boss fights I was out damaging all but 1 caster in every encounter. No, my guild mates dps does not suck, the game is broken right now. Period. Hell, we cleared kara with ONE healer and I tanked curator in meta form... Our ret pally tanked the rest.

Wait till level 80 to make any real assumptions about each spec. I'm looking forward to meta with imp shadowbolt and ruin. Hell,

my only issue with warlocks right now is the fact that all of our raid buffs are weaker than everyone elses so they get overwritten. My demonic pact was overwritten by wrath totem, even though my demonic pact SHOULD have been giving out 190 spellpower which is more than the wrath totem.

all in all, I like this spec comming from 0/21/40 pre patch. I was very unhappy with all the shadow damage nerfs we got. But their is nothing anyone can do about it so you have to try somthing new. Affliction was fun, dots tick hard but trash is boring. have not tried destro yet, but since I traded all my haste gems for spellpower, a respec will not do the destro tree justice w/o regemming.

Kick back, relax and wait for the xpac, I promise things will fall into place, we are warlocks for christ sake, kings of pvp and pve! /teleport
