Hi all.
Last night I finally got my Dreadsteed. I had already finished up the quests up to Scholo and while the patch went live and I could have just bought it I wanted to do it the old way :)
Not a single wipe, DM was a blast with those buggers coming at us in waves and having to keep all 3 items going.
All in all a fun time :)

gratz, and yes, I still remember getting mine as one of the most enjoyable experiences in game.
doing the encounter, old-skool is the best. it's such a hard fight to do back at 60 that it just makes it all the more worth it if you manage it that way :D
Grats! I still love Dire Maul (even if I prefer North over West), especially because of the lock mount event.
Even with the Dreadsteed now trainable, I advise all locks to try and do this. It's such a great event and forever after makes you feel like such a badass every time you mount up.
