I am planning on taking my healadin and converting him to a ret. pally. I recently got my hands on the farstriders cloak (nobody else wanted it). Is that a good cloak to use for ret? I have a ton of left over badges and had my eye on the blood knight war cloak until this dropped. Which would be better for a ret pally?
According to MaxDPS.com, using only Tier 4 and Badge items:
1) Royal Cloak of Arathi Kings - Kara (25.79 DPS)
2) Dory's Embrace - badges (24.27 DPS)
5) Blood Knight War Cloak - badges (20.85 DPS)
6) Farstrider Wildercloak - Kara (20.50 DPS)
Based on that, I personally would get the 60 badges for Dory's Embrace instead of the other cloak.

also according to maxdps.com, the best cloak you can reasonably aquire before BT/SWP is the Cloak of Darkness. leatherworking BoE item. mats are a little steep maybe, but dailies for a couple days and you'll have faster than you can get 60 badges for the lesser Dory's Embrace. Vengeance Wrap is ok too, but Cloak of Darkness with a Bold Crimson Spinel will just about last you to 80.
