Not much change for us.... Retribution paladins got a little bit of a nerf.

* Combat Potency: Now only works with auto attacks (no more Shiv.)
* Fan of Knives changed to be castable with no targets, further improved the visual affect and it no longer plays an impact on the caster. Now benefits correctly from the Find Weakness talent.Cooldown reduced to 10 sec.
* Killing Spree: Instead of making the rogue untargetable, now causes all players to lose targeting on the rogue and the rogue to be unstoppable during its duration.
* Riposte: Duration of this effect no longer reduced by other effects that reduce disarm duration.
* Shadow Dance: The cooldowns on Sap, Garrotte, Ambush, Cheap Shot, Premeditation, Pickpocket, and Disarm Trap are no longer increased while this ability is activated.

Killing Spree change is nifty as well as the shadow dance change, this will make it much more fun to use as we can bank 110 energy and go ambush crazy XD!

But in any case sub is not getting the attention it so direly needs, its a lackluster PvP spec and a sucky-*** PvE tree(especially when lined up against Mutilate and Combat)... Subtlety needs either a huge sustained DPS boost or some more mobility seeing how we can't even shadowstep while rooted anymore O_o...

Not entirely accurate. In the right raid set up HaT builds can pump out some strangely good numbers. In my experience, it was a few percentage points total output (All Bosses) difference between Mutilate, Combat and HaT. But the build suffers from specific group needs and isn't the most flexible of the three. Not to mention that it's kinda boring spamming Evis constantly. I doubt most raiders will spec it or even try, but it's there nonetheless.

HaT is decent for PvE but it's really just not controllable enough or reliable enough for me to really consider this over Mutilate or Combat seeing how there I can have a set rotation and I know I'll do good DPS regardless of RNG crits.

I wouldn't consider HaT better than Mutilate and Combat for general raiding, no. But to say it's "sucky-***" is not entirely accurate. In the right circumstance the build becomes raid-viable. That's all I was pointing out.

Also I wouldn't say that Mutilate has a specific rotation really. I'm finding it more a list of priorities than a rotation in the same sense that Combat had (and has) specific rotations to keep to for optimization. But that's just a minor point of precise semantics really.

I think that what makes the raiding spec of Muti a bit hard for some rogues is just that...

People are being forced out of their comfort zones with rotations because it is so based upon preference. We're all still working on finding the "best" way to rotate. I've been changing up the rotations and counts for muti with some good results, but tweaking the spec is becoming both annoying and expensive.

I know that most of the rogues on my server raiding with muti are all feeling the same way.

500 gold+ and counting...

(edit - I are good speller)

Something else to note is that the Deadly Throw bonus on our PvP gloves is gone.

In it's place, Kick costs 10 less energy.

Fairly large nerf. I hope Blizzard allows Ruthlessness to affect DT again, now that it's really, really retarded to combine Throwing Spec and Ruthlessness.

I noticed that as well... and I'm not able to put my finger on why exactly they did that...

I can't see them just nerfing DT like that when the combination you mentioned makes no sense either...

Weird.

No more solo-interrupting on RoS or Council. Actually didn't see that one, good eye daddio.

They've changed Glyph of sprint now aswell.

Instead of lowering CD by 1 min (0.25mins cause of bug) it's "Increases the movement speed of your Sprint ability by an additional 30%, but reduces the duration by 5 sec."

Means that with the glyph, sprint is faster, but doesn't go quite as far.

My apologies then, hadn't seen anything posted about it yet, guess I just haven't been observant enough.

It's alright. I'll have the Brewmaster title within a day when it comes around again.

Then at Hallow's End I just need to get a Squashling, then I've got my Drake.

Many people missed the Brew of the Month Club, so it's going to take them another year to get that achievement. Smiley: wink
