Ok, was doing some AB this morning killing time before work, and there was this one mage that i just could not kill, no matter what i tried. He was blinking out of my stuns, can mages really do that? I havent had that happen to me. I would open w/ a stun and he would blink instantly, and kill me before i could close the gap. Whats up with this??
Mate, blink IS used to break stuns. That's it's primary use. I can't imagine how you would've levelled to 70 and not know that as rogue, to be honest.
You're probably on about an arcane mage; yes, you need some skill, cooldowns and luck to tackle those as they are right now (Depending on spec though, I guess I'd still eat them as ShS or ShD).

As weird as it is...i have never had a mage blink out of my stuns before.....or if they did i just never noticed it. And yes it was an OP arcane mage T_T.....She single handly defended the mine from countless horde for a good 20min AB.
Open with Garrote. The only way CS works against a mage is if you're ShS and good at keeping people under control.
too bad you can't shs out of frost nova any more.

That explains why there aren't any shs rogues around any more.
heh now i understand why people say always use garrote on mages. Started doing it and now their not nearly as hard....cant believe i made it to 70 without knowing that.../facepalm.
