I think it's normal to pull aggro off the voidy. You can work with it, too.

I always go SL, CoA, Corr, UA, Haunt -> either Drain Soul or Lifetap -> Wand

This way the mob will ofc come for me halfway through it. But with the dots ticking, he'll die after he hit me once or twice, if at all. Haunt and SL take care of that, meaning I'm standing there with nearly 100% mana/life and a lootable mob right next to me. Lather, rinse, repeat
