How do you like the new Trees? ^^Follow

Well, the subject says it all, I'd like to know what you do think about the new talent trees.
I am aware, that at this point it is quite uncertain how everything is going to work out in wotlk at lvl 80, but I just want to know your impressions of the content patch and the talents that came along with it.

I for one am very delighted, that frostmages are so strong in PvP atm. I do not feel we're really OP, just that we at least finally can take on any other class without being chanceless. I love the new frost tree, and I think it is awsome DPS as well as burst, with loads of control (chain-novaing) and also surviveability.

I am on the other hand relatively disappointed of what the other trees turned out to be. Blizzard actually stated in a blue post, that they never intended to have the trees being optimal for a certain role ( PvE/PvP/suckyness) and that they were actually going to fix that. Well, turns out that arcane is decent for PvP now, but still pretty mucht the noskill-tree it has been before as well. Arcane is more damage now, and has stopped to be a pure support-tree for other spells. But after all it looks like its going to be inferior to a deep fire/shallow frost specc for PvE as well as it will be inferior to a deep frost specc for PvP. So to sum it up, arcane seems to be at the same point where it has been before the patch.

Fire might be good for PvE at some point, but disregarding the PvP-orientated buffs to the specc it somehow just cannot prove itself even in 1v1 situations. Some classes get defeated by it, but a simple sPriest is quite impossible to kill, not to mention 1vx situations. The surviveability is too low, the damage is too low for PvP (Burst) and the proccs are too unreliable. In a PvE situation where you stand in one spot and spam away, it might be incredble DPS, but in PvP its just a bad joke. Living bomb is nothing but a very expensive dot, while I can mainly use scorch spam as main nuke and hope for a hot streak procc. Imo the specc needs work if blizzard is really intending to make every specc viable everywhere.

I am after all pretty happy about the patch, just a little disappointed that blizzard didn't really stick to what they promised to implement. What about your opinion?
