Pvp Spec?Follow

Hey, I've been playing a hunter for a while now, and a bm hunter for a while at that. While my character is only level 69, shes got over 33 days of playtime attributed to her, heavily due to a lot of pvp and some rp.

My question is, is my BM spec any useful for pvp? Yes I know most of the time hunters are rated at the bottom of the arena team list, but Im talking pvp in general, such as duels, battlegrounds, and world pvp, maybe arenas. If its not that good, then maybe you could suggest improvements? Im not terribly interested in raiding at the moment, so I dont mind having little pve utility.

Also, I know a lot of people will say that Marksman is better for pvp, but I honestly don't care, BM is just a personal preference.

Here is a link to my armory which is safe. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=Ravenholdt&n=Artemisnat

The biggest question I'd have is--since you felt the need to be able to tame Exotics, which pet did you choose? A silithid would be good, a devilsaur might not be quite so great.

Also, I don't do a lot of pvp, but if I were going to I would probably at least pick up Aimed Shot from Marks--I imagine it would be quite useful.

If you want the best spec, and don't want to go MM, then you're out of luck. I mean, in S3 and early S4 I got BM hunter and SL/SL lock to 1850, but there really is a cap that you hit with BM hunters. Its just not good, and not feasible if you want to achieve high ratings with it.

I am BM and usually always in the top 5-10 (depends on bg) or so In Bg's. Dino, Chimera or a cat are your best bet for a pvp pet.

The pet I chose to tame was a corehound, for two reasons. The first is the corehounds skyhigh dps, the second is the caster debuff, which I find very useful against caster classes which i usually have more trouble with. The shaking is kinda annoying, but im sure blizzard will fix it. If I had to pick a second pet, Id go with a chimera for the speed debuff, or my bat for the stun.

I do plan on picking up aimed shot once I get to 80, as my old planned spec was 41/20,for now im just sitting with what Ive got until the expansion.

I know marksman is a better spec, but again, my favorite part of the class is the pet honestly, and the kiting to a lesser extent. There are certain low tier marks talents that I cant live without though.

As for the arguement against exotic pets, I find their special abilities and extremely boosted stats very helpful.
When you have a worm that has more dps than a bat, then I find that pretty impressive.

Scorpid>All in arena. Even for PvP, there aren't really any good reasons for having a point in Beast Mastery over a point in GftT.

Well i aint pvp'd with my hunter yet, but i did see a video of a lvl 70 survival spec'd hunter absolutly own lvl 80's including death nights, but he did have a little trouble with a shadow priest. He just trapped the hell out of them and destroyed them from afar.
Trap then disengage simple but damn effective, he hardly ever used his pet.
