I really doubt it, but haven't had a chance to test it yet. Anyone know?
yes they do, it doesn't add up to an 8% proc chance as they're not addative, their chance to proc is seperate (but the proc itself is identical), but it's close to 8%, so you can say it's 8% simply for simplicity purposes.
i have both the talent and the glyph, and it does seem that they stack. It's definitely not double, but a slight increase. I took the glyph because there weren't a lot of choices, but now i'm considering something else. I'm thinking of using the glyph to replace nightfall, giving me 2 talent points to spend elsewhere.
With Necrosis not being updated, does anyone have any suggestion for an add-on that will indicate when I enter a "shadow trance"? I used to love Necrosis, as it gave a verbal indication that nightfall proc'd. I really didn't maximize SB's w/o it. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks,

I'm happy enough with the sound. When I'm not on my lock and hear the sound of Nightfall or Backlash proccing, I reach for the Shadowbolt key I don't have.
As far as I know, only those two talents and the glyph make that sound.

I've been using dotimer for shadow trance notifications, it's a bit complicated to set up, but does exactly what I want (whole screen edge flashes green on a proc).

Chance to proc = chance that one of them procs = 1 - chance that none procs =
1 - (0.96 * 0.96) = 7.84%
There. Almost 8% indeed.
Edit: always forget that , = . and vice versa when translating from Dutch to English...

I am not noticing many procs with Nightfall in general. I dont think it stacks directly, but "rolls" twice for each tick.
Corruption has 21.7% chance to proc Nightfall, while Drain Life has 18.5% (40%).
There should be a total of 80% chance to proc with the glyph, if you stack Drain Life and Corruption. But, I do not see it happen very often, which leads me to believe that it's not 80%, meaning the glyph and talent roll independently, or do not stack at all.
Blizzard usually indicates when something can not stack, so either it does, or they have yet to update the tool-tips.
