So I know that with the expansion coming out, there will be new heroic badges from the new heroics and raids, so will the old heroic badges still be useful? Or should i just use up what few I have and not worry about trying to get anything else?
the current badges will not buy any lvl 80 gear. it is possible, although I haven't heard recently about it, that there might be some more lvl 70 badge gear released at the patch. if not i'd use what you have now to help your leveling go faster. or if you want you can buy gems with them since jewel crafters may want them to level their prof after the patch.
