Don't ya just love how Blizzard completely outlcassed their own pet after they give it a unique skill with the Silithids? Not only do they get an immob, but it also does damage.

I suggest that their skill is changed to:

Paralyzing Bite-
Bites the target for [rank] damage and injects them with a poison that does [rank] damage over time while paralyzing them in place for x seconds.

Ok... so it's a bit over the top. Maybe remove the dot or the upfront damage. Still needs some sort of damage.

if anything I would change the silithids special. When I think of spiders I think of spider webs...

When I think of Silithids I think of a Silithid charge/cleave/fear/thunderclap but that doesn't mean that they get to have it.

If you take a look at Exotic pets, and really take a moment to think about it, almost all of them directly outclass one pet or another. It's really so people who don't want to waste the talent point can have some similar abilities.

Chimeara outclasses Windserpent
Silithid outclasses Spider
Corehound -> Serpent
Devilsaur -> Raptor
Spirit Beast -> Cat
Rhino -> truly unique
worm -> wasp

Take a look and compare for yourself at petop Wowhead <3

Most of the Exotic Pet abilities are just combining two pet abilties that already exist, or just an improved one.
Core Hound - Serpent's poison spit
Chimera - Heyena's Tendon rip
Slithilid - SPider's Web + a DoT
Devilsaur - Similair to Raptor's savage rend
Spirit Beasts - Cat's Rake
Rhino's - Only unique Ability
Worm - Scorpid's socprid posion + Armor reduction

Rhino really only has the only unique ability, and that's about it. Devilsaur's is fairly unique IMO( raptor's ability has a 1minute CD)
