Congrats on the moonkin love, I'll probably try a temporary owly respec one of these days to experience the love y'all seem to be getting, but I'm a furball with nothing to add specifically about these Moonkin changes, sorry. But two things in 3.0.3 caught my eye and since YOU linked the notes, your thread gets the hijack. I'm sure some of your feathery brethren will address your talent questions.
- For us Nelf's who are growing accustomed to taking advantage of in-combat shadowmeld, the cooldown will now start on use instead of on break. Not huge, but it'll make it more frequently usable, thanks Blizz.
- Swift Flight Form available from trainer?!? I think that's a shame, personally -- I liked getting/having to do a class quest after not having done one since the teens. And it was a good one, too, how it got into the lore and made you use your different skills. They coulda just nerfed the last step so you could do Anzu in regular Sethekk instead of requiring heroic or something, or even make the last step solo-able. Trainable? Sucks.
That reminds me, from some other recent patch, how much does it suck that the
charm of swift flight got changed from a speed boost to a mana reduction? When was the last time you cared about how much mana you used shifting info flight form. I hadn't noticed until a few days ago, and banked that sucker until further notice when I did.
