Hunter Nerf going to hurt rogues?Follow

So GC has talked about the upcoming nerf to hunters here

The noteable one is:

Has these nerfs been put into affect yet on beta? Just curious as to how much of an affect this has on rogue DPS. A good bit of our DPS is through poisons and bleeds, but last nights Kara run on the bosses ~50% of my damage is from mutilate and normal melee. So I would imagine this is going to impact rogues quite a bit.

The saving grace is he did say:

I couldn't imagine rogues not fitting into this category. Definately going to be interesting to see how things pan out.

It hasn't been implemented.

It's a nerf, but it's not a huge one. Boss armor values are going up by 10%, not 10% flat mitigation. Using level 70 numbers here, after debuffs caster bosses would have 3420 armor (24.4% reduction) instead of 2800 (20.9% reduction), which means you'll be dealing about 95.6% of the damage you would have before the change. Non-caster bosses are going from 4300 (28.9% reduction) to 5070 (32.6% reduction), which gives you about 94.8% of the damage you would have had.

It's not a huge hit.
