Mutilate Off-hand questionFollow

Ok, Im fairly new to Assassination and ofcourse I use Mutilate. I have Merciless Gladiator's Shanker in my main hand. Now here is my question, would it be better to use Merciless Gladiator's Shiv or another Shanker in my Off-hand. I was thinking the Shanker b/c of high max damage and .40 difference is delay is not that much. But I have been wrong in the past and dont really want to blow my honor on something if there is a better option. Thanks and appericate any info.

Given weapons of the same DPS but different speeds, go with the faster one. This may change in the future though.
