Blacksmithing vs Engineering QuestionFollow

Hiya

I need to ask something about blacksmithing and the future of it in 70--->80 content.

Can someone link if there is available a page with items made by BS at level 80?

Opinion :''Go for Engineering m8 since there isnt really anything interesting for a protection warrior with BS''

Q: Is the above statement true (in terms of income-in terms of usefull plate items-in terms of time to level profession)?

Yeap Gnomish Enginnering is the one I ll pick when time comes just for this item :))

As far as I have understood so far professions dont really make money, its just another way to increase your gameplay and have fun.(The island quest give adequate money)

Now if I m able to craft 1 or 2 epic items just to wear them then thats must certainly worth something.

a.I see the epic Goggles made by engineers and the Gyro- something weapon as top of tankig gear so far.

b.The mats needed to level Engineering are not that high compared to those of BS ( so far ..)


Is there any list of best tanking items made by BS?

I dont see any Epic BoP BS stuff yet. But I am assuming there will be some implimented, or more likely items like the Brilliant, Spiked or Tempered Titansteel sets will become BoP and require specialization.

Personally I'm keying on the fact that BS will be able to make some Shields in Wrath. BC Armorsmithing wasnt very versitile compared to Axe/Hammer/Sword Specializations as a Weaponsmith... nor was it great for Prot, which seems counterintuitive.

I'm guessing there will be a nice BoP Epic Shield (among other things... Chestplate, Legs, etc) usable only by Armorsmiths at 80. Probably Tier 8ish in terms of iLevel.

The other benefit to BS will be the ability to add a socket to some of your gear (Bracers/Gloves I think... ). And Wrath Gems will give better stats than BC Gems do (looks like double the BC Gem of the same cut and quality).
