I'm using the Dispel glyph for PVE...Follow

... and I'm not sorry. Smiley: tongue I've got Renew, and I'll be moving to CoH once it becomes available. In the meanwhile everyone seems to be using the Flash Heal one, but even with the changes I'm still just not using Flash Heal that much. The amount healed with the glyph added to Dispel isn't a lot, but an instant heal is an instant heal. It was obviously meant as a PVP tool but... I like it.

Anyone else?

The thing about Flash Heal is that, right now, tanks are taking *no* damage. We 4-healer'd Kalecgos with no problems, and I think Brut as well. With decent gear (badges/T5+) the healing from Renew and Gheal is mostly wasted; hence, people go for Flash Heal.

I did hear a funny story about the Dispel glyph though: a priest used it to dispel his city leader during an enemy invasion and healed for several hundreds of thousands of health a dispel. Lolz.

I don't think it's an awful idea, really. Loads of mobs have magic DOTs. If you're slow on dispelling you heal the one tick of damage they deal back.

Not that I'd rely on them that way in PvE though... That's yet another method of healing I need to find a use for =P

i just switched my renew glyph for holy nova, and great decision for my build atm

i cant wait until my crit build is complete at 80, holy nova will be a decent aoe heal, thatll proc all my crit based fun things

armor bonus + mini shields + instant flash heal on the main tank if they need it? i say yes!

this **** is gonna get crazy in xpac, i dont understand people who are unhappy with priest healing in the beta at all lol

Thanks Mozared. :D Guess I was blind this morning. I think the caffeine fixed it.

It might be me, but i think mass dispel activates the heal from the glyph. I'm not really sure, and the situations where i use mass dispel makes it kind of impossible to see. Also, the heal from the dispel glyph CAN CRIT :)

That does look interesting. I'm going to post it in my guild forums for those who are thinking of going Disc. Thanks for sharing.Smiley: nod

Personally, I couldn't be anything but Holy; now that I've got CoH I couldn't give it back. ;)

They patched its use on NPCs, dammit! My dispels were hitting Galv and Drek for 6-9k; now they hit for 1880-2800.

I doubt it, but I need to ask. It says "heals target" not "heals friendly target". Does this mean it would heal an enemy you dispel? >.<
Sorry for dumb question, currently I am running on Inner Fire and PW:P.

I have not noticed it healing enemy targets. Arena junkies says it's friendly targets only, and I imagine they've got more data than I do. :D
