Anyone else having fun using our new improved volley? Ran heroic SH last night, all those large pulls I'd use it everytime and watch the crits pile up, recount showed it was 42% of my damage.

The new volley is fun because there is no cool down now it scales with AP and it can crit ive been seeing 1k normal hits up to 1.5k.
Volley is a lot of fun since the patch.
Sadly max damage is restricted by the aoe cap.
Fully raid buffed I get hits around 600-680 damage as a bm hunter (thus with a rather "low" RAP of 3.0-3.4k raid buffed). Crits are up to 1.4-1.5k.
Crit rate is your melee crit rate (was 46% in BT yesterday where I used volley a lot since we AOEed every trash pack in there).

Yeah, I'm enjoying being able to keep up with the AOE spamming squishies. ;)
Gaaa. Wondered why I was doing so much more damage when asked to help aoe the skellies in Slabs.
I'm really having fun with it atm. My formula for soloing: Gorriladin + Imba Volley = Profit
Last night I decided that for the 70-80 grind, I'll be specc'ed 11/50 (filling in points here and there), and using a gorilla to AoE everything.
AoE farming makes the really long, annoying rep grinds a little easier.

Went around doing Scourge invasion stuff with myself, a prot pally, and a resto druid. Found several shards to ourselves late at night, and the pally tank just mounted up, pulled the entire area, and I Volley spammed. Mowed right through everything and had a ton of fun (and got everything from the event in one night, all 4 gear pieces, 3 trinkets, and tabard).
