Was curious if any of the beta testers could give us a little info on which factions it's a good idea with to have a certain level of rep with before doing their related quests? For example when BC came out pretty much everyone said to get your cenarion rep to honored before doing any of their quests to save you the hassle of running instances for rep if you planned on getting to exalted. So that's kind of what i'm looking for, that is if anyone knows anything.

I started looking into this and then found a lot more information, across various sites, than I expected to.

In the end, though there are other sites (notably spooncraft) that have information, it came down to three:

  • wowwiki
  • wowhead
  • blizzplanet

  • I've organised each faction and given it "Basic" and "Detailed" links.

With 16 factions, that gives you 32 pages of information. Some of the "Detailed" sections are very interesting!

As well, courtesy of Blizzplanet, I was able to include information on the Emblem (Badge) vendors. There are 2 of those (Heroism and Valor), with 1 link each.

Blizzplanet also allowed me to include details of Braeg Stoutbeard, the neutral "Fur & Leather" trader (trades fur and leather for patterns). He has 1 link.

    Where?

I thought that trollover asked such a good question that the response needed to be posted in the general section.

    You can find it: HERE

Post comments here, but also post something in that thread, so that we can keep it bumped and spread the cool info around.

If you look at the bottom of it, you'll see a wowwiki link.

A good idea would be to add some of the missing information to the wiki on this website.

It certainly looks as though that needs doing and so I added a note that I would do so.

Today, I updated that post with "Grand Master Cooking". The link I added gives details of cooking dailies, general impressions of what they will be like to do and screenshots of the various buff foods that will probably be available.

There's also quite a good, "so-obvious-you-might-miss-it" tip (re: Chilled Meat), tip on the linked page too.
